So from the trailer I thought the story was two people have a causal relationship but end up falling in love. The Plot is not nothing really new whatever you go in expecting that’s what you’re going to get out there are inconsistencies in the Plot. Aditya chopra tried really hard to give woody Alen sort of vibe with his past and present a type of narratives but that just goes away in the middle of the film so there’s no real purpose to why he use that type of narrative structure of the pacing just this goes weird. it goes really energetic really adult very energetically adult I don’t know there is lots of potential and lots of scenes for this to be something new and unfortunately there’s not really anything there and no depth in the characters no depth in the emotions everything is pretty bland and there’s not any real emotions in the film.
so what’s good about the film ranveer sing is charismatic and is a great actor in this movie. vani kapoor surprises us with her boldness in her character and she does a great job complementing ranveer singh’s a more goofy character with her more composed and then the music by vishal - shekhar is very catchy and also allows the plot to move on and is very very good. any time it comes up cinematography every single shot in this movie is beautifully framed and all the design element of the film are great as well.
