Produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Begum Jaan is directed by National Award winner Srijit Mukherjee, narrated by Amitabh Bacchan in this movie Vidhya Balan in leading role has done a wonderful job, all the supporting artist has also done a beautiful work which make a movie quite good. This is the remake of Bengali film Rajkahini which was release in 2016 at Dumka district in Jharkhand.
