When a movie features vidya balan. one expects a lot from it.
the actress is undoubtly a power house of talnet but poor direction can easily sweep away the attention from a flawless performer.
cuss words, puffing hookah, boldness of sex worker, vidya has done all to have a hit but somewhere she has succeeded also.
the film is watchable only once.
the major hiccup in the movie is its poor execution and the whole set up looks fabricated.
maybe a better director must have made this film more bearable. you can watch begum jaan for vidya balan and teams impressive performance but dont expect it to be a masterpiece !
