Travelled 4 days before morning at 0430 hrs from hyderabad to kolkata.well if you follow the advice and reach the place well in time.you will find that there is no way to reach the departure lounge due to rennovation.
And once u reach it somehow.( thanks to helping relatives who accompany you despite the un-earthly hour) .
You will find there are no chairs for ladies/kids! the CISF guy had six of the passenger chairs with him next to the sentry post and refused to let a sleepy 3 yr old sit there.
I think he was scared the kid will attack him well I wonder what the passengers are to do till the staff decide to wake up and open the gates to the check-in lounge.
I think they want you to sit on the foothpath. I really dont think any country treats its ctzens the way indians are treated! its pathetic and puts you to shame when you see how things are in other countries. Actually you need to know that this kind of services irritates you.
