hi all, first of all sorry for not writing any review from nearly 7-8 months, as was busy with work and also frankly to speak was short of the topic, but I used to RRC other review and parallel was in search of topics.....again sorry MSians for dragging too much might be some of them been irritated by now, ok no wasting time right on the topic...here it goes ..”Being Cyrus”
Being Cyrus a very realistic movie, with the shows of the rich parsi family, a real acting performance by each of the characters fills more and more interest into the movie.
I watched this movie recently, first impression, my mind was in analysis mode, after analyzing and getting to the conclusion that, this movie was just superb, I really liked the movie, and of course with some of the best star casts like Naseer, Dimple, and Saif in this movie was just wonderful. Each one of them had acted beautifully to make this movie a good one, But I still have some doubt that isn’t if this movie would have been in Hindi , might have got more success as might be the director thinks that Hindi movie should contain some masala, which this film lacks and also one more thing might be parsis normally are not comfortable with Hindi , to give a real touch it is in English , I think this topic could be debatable , still have a doubt why this movie had been picturised in English , rather in Hindi (analysis could be added in comment section)...oops sorry again off track from the review topic...not fair...ok me back to the review topic..
The Star Casts includes Saif Ali Khan in and as Cyrus, Naseeruddin Shah as Dinshaw, Dimple Kapadia as Katty , Boman Irani as Farokh , Simone singh as Farokh’s wife and Honey chayya as fardonjee
The director Homi Adajani (have major doubt about the English picturisation has to contact this person)
ok now the big one Story, here it goes, Saif ali Khan alias Cyrus gets into the house of Dinshaw as paying guest , Dinshaw’s family leaves in Panchagani , whereas his brothers family i.e. Farokh and his wife leaves in mumbai along with his father fardonjee. As the film proceeds with lots and lots of confusions to the viewers as what’s going on, as it proceeds one could get the feel of the problems involved in the fardonjee’s family, now the real hero Cyrus enters and does some magical drama… This is the story The End, sorry can’t relieve any thing because might spoil the interests of the others, Just go and watch the movie, a full mind entertainment, that’s for sure, just go and watch the film its very interesting, can’t even reveal the movie type, everyone has the consumption as some extramarital affairs, as projected in the postures and promos, so just watch it, might be true.
Actually you keep guessing till the first half of the movie, later on the real movie starts. Overall to say a good movie to watch, mind boggling, full marks to this movie from my side and I suggest each one to watch this movie...
As the performers/ character each one has acted very beautifully, with especially the expressions of naseeruddin shah being the best, and the dimple’s acting too solid as matured acting. Overall a splendid cast crew takes to the success of this movie
