This is my first review on this site and I acknowledge I am bit late giving a review on this phone (cos the market is flooding these days with cheap phones loaded with features).
Well, when I bought this phone (october 2004) the scenario was different. This was the only phone below 5K which offered colour screen, polyphonic ringtones and 500 x 3 inbuilt address book. Apart from that it had a decnt memory. (i have stored around 200 SMS in the memory and there is space for more).
its quite a stytlish set and looks cool, usage is easy. I you need to talk, its a decent phone to satisfy ur needs. But it comes with it cons. The biggest disadvantage is the volume of the phone. Even when set on Loudest, u can barely hear it in trafffic or loud sound. So the vibrator is always on. The battery life is OK (can’t compare to NOKIA which is the BOSS in battery segment). The battery of M555C drains out at the end of 48 hours when there is a fair amount of use. Anyway the company provides u with an extra battery in case u are on a journey and I have been rarely forced to use the other battery (hardly 5-6 times till now)
So i’ll sum it all up saying that if u want a color phone with decent features, this is the one for u. I got it for 4900 but now it must be around 3-3.5K.
