I have been to Bercos-Gurgaon today to have a team lunch. I had impression of good food and service after seeing the ratings on Foodiebay. Yes the food was delicious but the service was horrible. Ok, I will discuss everything one by one.
Ambiance and Sitting Arrangement - It was below average and sitting capacity was more but space was short. It was very congested and suffocating sitting over there. AC was not working and there was no power back up available with them. To add to this inconvenience, there was hardly any space in the parking and it was dirty and not maintained at all, imagine the entry and exit were same !! You need to keep your car in neutral with no hand break so that it can be moved for other vehicles etc. etc. 20/- were not worth paying there.
Table Service: It was the worst of all restaurants I have been to in my life. We were 15 people and first thing we ordered was just soup. It took nearly 45 minutes for them to get it on table. Imagine there is no AC and you are just waiting and sweating. Finally soup came and after that ??? My God, again the next order went for indefinite waiting. They were not enough courteous to serve drinking water unless asked for the third time. My patience was over and I went to their desk and yelled for so slow service. It worked and most of the things we ordered were on the table in the next few minutes. The food was tasty but very spicy. Finally the lunch got over in 2.5 hrs. The manager told it was first come first serve kind of service, so there is no point in booking any table or so, they will refuse to book.
The best thing you can do is order everything in one shot and don’t pain yourself in waiting again and again for small small orders.
