Best Of The Beast is (again) the best of the Maiden era.....unlike Def Leppard Maiden was, is and will always remain an metal outfit which they started out to be in the late 70s and will continue to best Metal outfit of the planet.....
The title Best of The Beast is apt for this album, which showcases most of the best songs brought out by Iron Maiden although it lacks a lot of heavy songs that were the anthems of the youth in the mid 80s and 90s....songs like Mother Russia, Seventh Son Of The Seventh Son, Afraid To Shoot Strangers and many many more. The album comprises of songs such as: Wasting Love, Wasted Years, Fear of the Dark, Tailgunner, Aces High and many of their commercial hits.
I picked up this album when I was about 16 and still in my high school years and have been hooked on the mind blowing riffs, the melodic leads and the amazing vocal range of Bruce Dickinson.
If you plan to start listening to Iron Maiden then this is the tape/cd u need to pick up.
