An amazing rib-tickling comedy in an otherwise bunch of highly-grave, melodramatic, saas-bahu dramas. The storyline is uniquely creative and new. Manmohan Tiwari(Rohitash Gaud) is married to Angoori Manmohan Tiwari(Shilpa Shinde) who is a simple, innocent housewife wife and Vibhuti Narayan(Aashif Sheikh) has Anita Vibhuti Mishra(Saumya Tandon) ex-beauty queen and a grooming instructor as his wife. Both of the neighbors always try to woo each others wife.
The characters are very lovable with their realistic flaws, idiosyncracies and laughable tendencies. Be it Saxena’s madness, angoori’s innocence or Vibhuti and Tiwari’s ridiculous die-hard attempts to catch the attention of their bhabhijis’. The dialogues too are creatively brialliant and hilarious from angoori’s silly poems to saxena’s ‘I Like It’ and everyone giving names to everyone else from Vibuti being called ‘Nalla’ to Anita being referred as ‘Gori Mem’. But when it comes to funny dialogues, Angoori’s malapropism simply steals the limelight from calling to Gorilla as ‘Gobar Lalla’ to referring to ‘selfies’ as ‘Saif Ali’! Its outlandishly hilarious.
Tiwari’s mother is another funny character who keeps breaking people’s heads and what not, when every time she stands near the window and drops something or the other, while talking on the phone. The comic timing of all the actors is brilliant and so is their performance. The background music of whistles and cheers adds to the excitement and comedy of the story, even the action scenes seem ridiculously funny for eg the way Vibhuti beats up the two guys from the neighbourhood when he sees them staring at his wife while wearing the sunglasses, or everytime he beats up saxena only to have him react at the end with “I Like it!”
This is a show that is sure to tickle your funny bones. I absolutely love it and laugh my lungs out every time I watch it even while watching its reruns. If you are looking for some great comedy to release that stress or lighten up your day, this is a sure bet.
