The series was left in lurch after a dispute between one of the lead actresses Shilpa Shinde and the show’s producer Binaifer Kohli. Shinde raised allegations of mental torture caused to her, and decided to leave the show leading to a subsequent CINTAA ban against her. Shubhangi Atre Poorey has replaced Shinde for the role of Angoori Bhabhi.[3] Shinde has filed a police complaint against CINTAA for banning her from working with any broadcaster.[4]
