Dr. Sachin Tiwari(Opthamalogist) Bhakti Vedanta Hospital- Mira road. He did my father’s retina surgery which was such a critical surgery and patient has to go through a lot of pain and precaution post surgery. It’s really a lot of bearing and patience that patient has to keep post surgery to get cured completely.
During the entire procedure post surgery till the next 2 months doctor kept advising that the eye was recovering well and everything is fine. Till the second last check up doctor advised that eye is recovering well but he has to do some cleaning through laser to clear the vision for future. After doing so he advised for further follow up in the upcoming week.
Now, everything got changed when my Dad visited the last time. Dr. Sachin Tiwari, now comes with a surprising fact that all of a sudden the silicon filled in the eyes has loosened up and he has go through the complete surgery all over again immediately! On that my sister who visited with my father questioned doctor that it was all well until he did the cleaning last time and now if it’s disturbed the only reason can be the laser cleaning carried out last time.
Doctor went spellbound as he himself following up with and discovered the improvement until something went wrong during the laser treatment. Now, doctor raised his hands stating surgery is needed urgently or his eye will be lost!
Doctor even not giving any assurance for eye sight after surgery due to the present condition.We feel completely helpless and negligent due to doctor’s mistake on laser treatment. Doctor himself has no words to say in his defence as he knows he did something wrong. In INDIA its so sad that we don’t have any forum or institution to go and approach for such negligence and ill treatment by doctors. I wish I was born in western countries and could SUE this doctor- SACHIN TIWARI and BHAKTI VEDANTA HOSPITAL.
