Sagar Bhanu is the name which many people of Kalyan will remember. The twin theaters are located near the railway station and has been entertaining the audiences since many years. With the advent of the multiplex culture, this place has lost its sheen.
But recently the Bhanu theater was reopened as Bhanu gold. They have changed the ambience but still lack behind when it comes to the multiplexes.
I have watched a couple of movies here and the experience was quiet average. The rates being low many sorts of people visit this place so it is not a place to take your family. The quality of sound is just ok. All and all a place which is struggling to find its old sheen. I still remember watching Raja Hindistani movie here with my family years ago. I lot of nostalgia but nothing more is left.
