I haven’t been here in a long long time.until this afternoon! This place is right opposite ghatkopar railway station. And probably after 5 in the evening this place becomes too crowded. Its pretty huge with more than adequate sitting capacity. boasting an a/c hall too. Though you can thank your stars, if you don’t have to wait for a spare table during peak lunch and dinner hours. The last time is visited this place was maybe a couple of years ago. and I didn’t like this place then. But today the story was quite different.
Bharat cafe shares a common wall with the adjacent neighbour, Ribbons and Balloons.and also has a softy icecream counter outside( whose ice creams are real good! But the cones are worth popping into bins! )
So I had a particular mindset while I entered here. that this place is not good. But today I really appreciated how huge this place was. Then as I and my girlfriend came along just for some snacks we ordered a Butter Marsala Onion Rawa Dosa! ( It took me a minute to memorize this and say it to the order taker! ) And they didn’t keep us hungry and waiting for long!
The Rawa Dosa was quite bug. even for the two of us to finish ( keeping in mind that we had lunch 15-20 minutes ago) The Marsala was totally hidden with the crisp rawa Rosa with all the finely chopped onions embedded in them. The taste was kind of above average, but I totally enjoyed taking a bite of the dosa then, then taking a bit of Marsala, dipping it into the coconut chutney, and then having a sip of the tasty sambar! I enjoyed cause this place lived upto my expectations! And even crossed it! So we both were more than full with just one item in here, but we had ourselves an mango-vanilla softy and a chocolate icecream cup! I’m sure if you pass through this area you will be more than tempted to try out the softy! Which, as I said, is yummy! But don’t eat the cone or else Sara Maza kirkira hojayega!
