We are into the business of catering and wants to see the possibility of getting more catering business through Bharat Matrimony directory service where they enlist people and start connecting vendors to clients. They promised us leads during a certain period of time.
When they came to my place to sign up, they said, they will upload pictures and all and a microsite. I was expecting them to call me for the same. When they did not, I checked, so they had just extracted data from my website and made it. I personally found no specialised effort into it, it was templatised. But ok, I dint raise an issue there as there was no prior specialised commitment on this front
They had promised good leads and had assured that we will easily recover our investment if we are able to crack 1-2 catering and after that would be a good ROI. Well, its been so much 6 months, I have not got a single good lead. Half of their leads dint reach us. Some which did were completely sad. We are specialised into Maharashtrian and Punjabi food and we said that to them. Whats the point of sending a Goan Food requirement to us. Its deceiving us and the customer both!
Guess whats more? They sent us Birthday Catering leads where the requirement was of 40-50 people in complete far off areas. How am I going to make any money in that? Plus when we asked the lead where he enquired, he said it straight that he had not put anything in Bharat Matrimony and he’s been getting calls from caterers around the city cos of them unnecessarily. He required a catering closely as he knew his requirement was extremely small
It doesn’t end there. I decided to put a mail on this to them expressing my disappointment so that I can get a resolution at the right time. Initially there was a bit of support, and they required some details from my end. I furnished the details to them, but post that there has been no response. Finally when I wrote to them that ill take an action against you guys, thats when one of them responded saying management will call tomorrow at 10. I am waiting for their managements call since 4 days now.
I don’t recommend any vendor to use matrimony directory as they clearly do not understand the importance of a small business owners money and time!
