After a lot of deliberation, went with Bharti Axa online term insurance eprotect. As per the online reviews, there were horror stories for all insurance companies for online term plans except for ICICI which was a little expensive. So though of going with Bharti Axa.
I should say, I do not regret it. Don’t know about claim settlements, but issuance of policy was very smooth. Paid online around April 5th 2013 and policy was issued on April 22nd 2013. The whole process was hassle free with very less follow ups.
One of the cheapest premiums across companies. Medical test was done at home. I could not upload documents on the site, sent them email and it was taken care. So I would recommend to buy from Bharti Axa. As said the review is only on policy issuance.
