Lethargic CustomerCare


These are my observations with AirTel Chennai provider.


AirTel, is of late the supreme cellular service provider in India covering the length and breadth of the nation. But it is disheartening that the nonchalant attitude of the customercare people in AirTel proves as a blackspot in the otherwise beautiful fabric.


Any request you sent to Airtel ranging from a simple ()VoiceMail Activation to ()Bill clarification will elicit a standard response like reply in 48 hours. Unless you remind them again in a day, you are supposed to wait for the entire week and you are put in dark.


AirTel claim to provide 24x7 customer support but always you encounter the following:


(*)The same old AR Rahman Music keeps playing for more than 10 minutes.


(*)The call abruptly drops in the middle


It would also be advisable to subscribe either to eBill or an Itemized bill so that you can be sure of what you are being billed at.


Hope some AirTel or Bharti group senior official looks into the matter to set things right.
