I just spent 2 hours buying gifts from easyday(bangalore)- after the staff told me that I can get it gift-wrapped in the store. Then, I asked the billing clerk before billing and he also showed me where I can get it gift wrapped. However, after billing, CSR desk flatly refused to gift-wrap saying that it’s store’s policy to not do any gift wrapping on saturday and sunday( a policy which is not displayed anywhere, nor any other staff seem to be aware of). Having paid for the stuff and wasted 2 hrs, I left with the stuff to get it wrapped elsewhere on my own cost. But, this does go to show the store’s unethical practices - and how they trap customers by lying, and I am sure I do not want to go anywhere near this place in future.
