"Bhimashankar" is a great place to visit. Its approx. 28 km from my house. I visit 1 time a month over there. I feel very good and pleasant in bhimashankar. The temple is curved and has a good look from many centuries. There is a forest of Bhimashankar which has many un-numerable animals. Monkeys are commonly seen near temple and roads.Hotels are very nice and at cheap rates.
If you are ready to walk the less trodden path, Bhimashankar is an ideal weekend destination - A back to nature cum holy weekend.
