A threadbare situational comedy that tries hard to make it all look funny but fails miserably. This is basically a story about a man struggling to establish his own abode in the city of dreams and follows his pursuit in earnest – hoping to cash in on the laughs thereof.It’s definitely not a situation conducive to bring the house down even if there are some really good actors marking time here.
The title itself is suggestive of what’s in store for the audience. It’s as nondescript as the film and prepares you well in advance with regards to the woebegone outcome. The direction is non-existent. The plotting is so wayward and incoherent that you’d be left wondering what’s happening. Such stories, albeit with much better helming, are a much better fit for theidiot box. A big screen attempt puts on the brakes on enjoyment as the creativity gets curtailed because of cash flow problems. The idea wasn’tbad though. It’s the scripting and execution that fails to produce purpose. it’s a wonder even that such misadventures still manage to hit the screens!
