Bhoot bari bhool bhulaiyya..!
Wow…I was really
exited before the release.this
excitement prevailed since I saw the clippings of bhool….where akshay was seen
in a traditional sadhu dress!, Which dragged me to the nearby theater.
I have been seeing
akshay kumar since ‘garam masala’ in which he proved, he can be one of the most
feverish comedian of India.
His up comings like
bhagam bhag, hey baby, made him my favorite comic hero in the hindi cinema. Well
wishing of getting the same enjoyment by
his new movie bhool bhulaiyya I rushed to the theater on the second day of
release.
My first impression
on bhool…
Initially I knew
that bhool was the remake of ‘aptha mithra’ a kannada movie which bashed
Karnataka last year.this point even forced me to watch the movie expecting more
delightful performance by the hindi crew than the kannada ones.but……
Next:
After the movie
started, the main thing I noticed was, the scenes in bhool were completely
shuffled compared to aptha mitra.there were new situations and advanced plot
which we don’t find in its original film or in aptha mitra.this has really
raised its height.
Whats new in it:
Most attractive part
of the film is the palace (bhoot bangla!)
Where we find
beautiful paintings on the walls.
the photography brings the picture of typican rajastan in
front of our eyes .thats really wonderful.
And onces again its director priyadarshan who makes us laugh by his confusing
conversation between two characters at a time.
Best part:
its again none other
than akshay kumar who keeps the movie alive .the tragic part is that akshay
arrives after the interval, but he takes the entire film into his hands very
soon.
In the first half it
seems a bit boring inspite of paresh ravals comedy, but after akshay’s entry,
its him and only him that we
love to see on the
screen.
Songs are some what
good, but the whole theater rocks at last when bhool bhulaiyya remix song
starts playing
Casting:
Akshay is all at his
best, but if you expect a rib ticking comedy here, you loose your money because
the picture starts getting serious just after a short span of comedy.as a
psychologist and a natural comedian akshay has handled both different as well
as opposite characters efficiently.thats the positive
part of it.
Shenoi ahuja :as he
always looks, ahuja is an angry young man who loves his wife avni(vidyabalan)a
lot and screams often in the movie!he
even provide laughter when you see him running with akshay kumar on a short corridor!!
Vidya balan: she is
the main character of the story on whom the whole story is based upon.as the
kannada viewers have already watched
apthamitra, they do naturally compare her performance with actor soundaryas
excellent acting in apthamithra.and I am one of them.basically we all expected
that manjalika(vidya balans dual personality) would be having large large haunting, terrifying eyes, which is the most intresting part of the
character.but vidya disappointed us a lot .she nither had terrifying eyes nor
horrifying face.but , but fans of her can enjoy her angry filled face in this movie as she always exhibited
charming and jolly face in her past films.yet all other facts she looks realy
beautiful and energetic( reference: cot lifting sequence at climax)
Though the film is
not up to the mark compared to our sandalwood
film(do not mistake me for comparing two movies.
If you really watch
apthamitra , you shall know the difference).priyadarshan has really given us
good and entertaining movie.
if you are a true
akshay kumar fan , definatly this movie is worthy to be watched as you can see
akshay wearing different costumes and looks very cute and neatly shaved!!!
Concluding
question!: I still wonder why the dance master of this movie made dancing
girls to wear holy costums for a
vulgar dancing…?
Ans : its his Vulgar mind isn’t?
This is my first
review, hope you all like it.
if you accept my
views, your comments are always invited… I will be waiting
yours
