Hats Off !!!!!

We live in a world and society that

revolves around religion, beliefs, superstitions and faith, what we have been

taught is tattooed on our minds till we die, but the question is what happens then?

When we are alive now how do we

really interpret our faith in what manner or through what actions? Would we

believe what we see or what we hear, when we come to a road where these

question collide we break, this is the kind of situation Director Priyadarshan has

handled in such a fantastic manner

I’m not comparing this movie to the

once made in Malayalam, Tamil and Telegu, if you look at this flick in a very

fresh manner you’ll notice that Neeraj Vora (screenplay), Manisha Korde

(dialogue) have done a overwhelming job.

Storyline: Vidya Balan who plays Avni

Siddharth Chaturvedi and Shiney Ahuja who plays Siddharth Chaturved are

planning to come down to their ancestral palace to live for a little while,

they are recently married and are in a very excited mood, but the relatives are

not so happy for them to stay in that ancestral palace they believe that it is

haunted and cursed so for that same reason no one dares to go in the palace at

night a series of comedy events happen between Paresh Rawal who plays Batukshankar

Upadhyay and G. Asrani  who plays Murari

when they enter the palace to get the misplaced key Paresh Rawal left behind.

Vidya Balan is a curious cat who

ventures into the unknown sections of the Palace to find out more, she finds a

door that is locked and is known to be protected by Tantric Mantra’s she gets

very excited to find out what is behind that door because her mother-in-law had

told her that there are hidden treasures in the palace, she lures on of the

house member to get a copy of the key and when it is given to Vidya she goes

ahead and open the forbidden door, and soon after that a series of unnatural

events start to take place, like the guy who made the duplicate key dies and so

on.

Shiney Ahuja is really in a stressed

manner because he does not believe that a ghost is doing all the events that

are happening and his family keeps suppressing on him that this is all the

works of evil spirits who were locked in that room, so he goes ahead and calls

up his friend Akshay Kumar who plays Dr. Aditya Shrivastav. After Akshay gets

down to the palace he starts observing each and every element of the events

that happen in his own manner, and he sure does it in Style

I cannot reveal the plot anymore

but I can only tell you that all other who have acted in this movie have done a

job above what was expected.

Scenes to enjoy: When Paresh Rawal,

Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Joshi go back to fix the lock. Akshay Kumar’s entry, and

Akshays first encounter with the supernatural. and ofcourse also the rest of the movie too.

A big bow to Vidya for pulling off

her role in such panache – I don’t care if you get a national award or not you’ve

surely made my paisa vasool, and "YOU" who are reading this will surely agree

when you watch this movie.

Good bye for now, I’ll be back with

a review soon, please leave your comments and suggestions. Thank you God Bless

You
