Street bazaar

Big Bazaar is a organized street bazaar. Although it looks like a supermarket, it sells the same stuff available at streets in Janpath, Sarojini nagar, central market. The low price of goods is because of very poor quality.

The place is crowded in the evenings and on holidays. There is very less space even to walk, forget about standing and reviewing peacefully. People are pushing all the time. Very noisy and long ques for bill payment. Even the salesmen there usually seem to be lost or not interested in customers at all. So don’t expect any customer support or help. The experience of shopping there is something similar to that of buying a ticket at a crowded railway station.

But it’s good to buy cheap daily household consumables like mops, dusting clothes, mats etc. It has different section for clothes (kids, women, men), cosmetics, grocery, toys, shoes etc. Recommend visiting it in the afternoon when there are fewer people.
