True to its name.. this show does put light on some of the issues ailing our country through some serious war of words.
The show is hosted by Rajdeep Sardesai, a gem in his field. the background of the show is something like this... two people with opposite views pitted against each other in a debate, the third speaker usually with a neutral stand on the topic, guest speakers, audience and lots and lots of verbal bloodbath.
Most fun are those episodes that have the Congress pitted against the BJP. Heated discussion is an understatement for such an episode. this is good in many ways than one, cus the public then realises that we are govenrned by a lesser of two evils at any given point of time..
There are three rounds to the show.. first is called the ’’big punch’’ which gives each speaker 3 minutes to present their view.
Second round gives each speaker, a minute to defend their stand.
Third round, the junta throws forward their questions...
All in all, a good show to watch if u like debates and love to take sides..
Sardesai does a pretty good job of putting the speakers on the gas!
Speakers elected to speak are also speak very well, so it is not difficult to follow the show..
I Watch the show mostly on sunday mornings.. they do have re runs but I am not aware when they are on air..
The show does tend to take sides, but on the whole provides a complete view, after that its upto you to go either way to make ur opinion.
I will reccommend you to watch this show once. Then you decide if you wanna watch it again and again.... ;)
