After 8 days finally I got the big tv installed.The installing guys came the evening 7pm and started installing.
They told before installing I have to give the documents(address proof, id and 1 photo).I dont know about this. Finally I arranged all, and gave them. They told, without that they dont do the installation and after activation. After submitting the documents at the reliance office only my bigtv will get activated.
In this case tata sky is better. they dont need any documents. And also the activation within 1minute after installation.
Bigtv guys took 3 hours to install the dish. Its very bad compared to tatasky. My last dth was tatasky, those guys took only 10 minutes to install.
During installation bigtv guys did so many mistakes. After assembing the dish, they disassembled it and did again. They are not having any instrument to find the direction of dish.
They checked the signal and completed the dish installation and started installing the set-top box inside the house. Here its shown, poor or no signal.
They again went to the roof and spent some 15 minutes.
They got the signal.
Tuning happened.
Channel names are showing, but no picture or sound.
They tried for software update. But failed.
finally at 10.30pm, they told, we will come tomorrow.
I waiting for them now.
They are very less experienced or trained peoples.
Now I am very clear that, why they are lagging the installations in bangalore.
They need 3 or more hours for each customer. According to this, per technician, per day they can handle only some 5 installations.
