I purchased Reliance BIG TV recently and it took nearly 15 days for installation. After few days, the channels in my regional pack are gone. When I call up customer care, the guy who picks up the call says all servers are down and asks me to call after 1 day without listening to what I have to say and simply disconnects the call(If any reliance people are reading this review, FYI his name is Vijay). I couldnt believe that company like Reliance have such poor servers and called again immediately.
This time another guy(named Razzaq) picks up the phone, listens to my complaint and then asks me to wait so that he can take up my complaint. He also disconnects the phone without doing anything. At this point, I was wondering what will happen to people who do not have a BSNL landline!!! They will end up paying one month subscription amount as their phone bill for sure. I called up again and this time anothe guy took my complaint at last. Does BIG TV has any tie up with other mobile operators for generating revenue through phone calls? One thing is for sure...if you are going for BIG tv, your patience levels should also be very BIG :-)
Also the navigation between channels is very slow. Having suffered at the hands of Reliance, I would really recommend others who are planning to go for it, to rethink again. May be you pay other DTH operators few more bucks but you will at least watch TV in peace and save the money you spend for trying to reach Reliance customer care.
