Bad Customer Service - Reliance is famous for this

Thanks for all the info about Reliance’s unreliability on this website. I will wait for Bharti and Videocon to launch DTH.  Then, I will have more choice - Dishtv, Bharti, Tatasky, SunDTH and Videocon.  BigTV I left out becoz they seem to be no better than the local cable guy regarding customer service.


TRAI should make it mandatory for settop boxes to be interoperable with all DTH providers, so customers can change providers, just like we can change mobile SIM cards.


Reliance mobile, landline, Internet and now BigTV and the same big problems.  Anil Ambani should realize Customer service is more important than Technology in the long term.


Reliance ADAG group seems to have inefficient and even corrupt managers at the district level.  Reliance offices work like state government offices with no internal communication and no accountability.  This is from personal experience, as my friend was an advertising contractor for Reliance Comm at Mysore and we were really made to run around to get bills cleared.


Reliance needs to put in place better customer care services for all its products. Also, Anil Ambani needs to get better managers at district level and also monitor  managers.  Otherwise, Reliance ADAG group will soon be synonymous for Bad Customer Service.


Reliance ADAG, being a big corporate, may not take this blog seriously, but word of mouth is important.  Reliance may get new customers, but can they retain customers with bad service?
