I ordered my big tv connection this thursday ( 21/08/08) evening by paying 2490 rs.
I was told that they will do the installation work tommorow i.e on friday. But to my dismay there was no installation done on friday. Saturday being a holiday for me, I thought today I will watch big tv. After many calls two persons were sent to me wearing big tv t shirts and caps in the evening of saturday and in three hours of my precious time they could not start the big tv at my home. They said they are very busy and will activate the stb(set top box) tommorow i.e on sunday. On sunday after 2, 3 calls these persons came at around 11 o clock before noon and could not activate till 4O clock in the evening.
Then I thought of calling the customer care and they guided me and those so called service engineers of reliance big tv. At around 5"o clock video was available but to my utter surprise there was no audio. They tried their best but could not solve the problem.(even changed the tv set, cord etc.)
Till today ie.monday I am not hearing any sound but only watching video.
what sort of service is it?
if they were not ready what was the point in launching this service"
they could have trained their installers?
I was told by them that previously they were in dish tv. and recently they joined big tv.
I hope my problem will be sorted out soon
I can say one thing that the picture quality is very good as of now, but the service of installers is very bad. It is not their fault actually they were not trained.
customer care people are very prompt to help you out.
