His is what one of my friends Dr Ashok Gupta (dr.ashokg.ghaziabad@gmail.com) shared about his bitter experience with Reliance BG TV connection.
In April 11, he received a message from Big TV suggesting to subscribe to annual package by paying Rs. 2510/ for entire year which was a discounted price viz-a-viz subscription charges paid on monthly basis. In order to save some money and moreover hassles of repeated recharge, he paid the suggested amount of Rs. 2510/ at their Ghaziabad franchise, some Star Agencies and Marketing. The agency neither accepted cheque nor issued receipt for the amount paid but confirmed that the amount would be appropriated as desired and he would receive a SMS for the same, which he received in due course.
Now his nightmare started when he came to know that his money deposited as a one year package had exhausted only on 15th Jan 12 instead of 20th April 12 i.e. more than three months in advance. After approaching customtakeouter care, he was informed that his payment was not appropriated against annual package but on monthly basis therefore this shortfall. Also that in order to get uninterrupted service he has to pay now else the service was liable to be discontinued.
Although the monetary loss was insignificant to his status but seeing a conspiracy and cunning way of cheating the subscriber community he decided not to pay and fight back in order to restore his money but in vein. To his disappointment and great frustration, they discontinued his service.
He has now decided to take his fight to higher level for his rights and for the benefit of subscribers community in general.
This incident may be an eye opener for potential subscribers to judge on the quality of service and attiMr_customtakeouter of Big TV towards it customtakeouters.
