After going through all the reviews and reference from friends who have already installed
BIG TV. I have bought big tv setup box for Rs 2190/- (1490/- set up box + Rs 700/- 1 year Subscription ) in Hyderabad from the Dealer directly.
Please note that yout TV need to have DVD input ports as far as I know. please contact the customer care or check your TV before you BUY BIGTV
*Reason’s Why I purchased BIG TV:
*1. Cabel operator Charges from Rs 150 to Rs 175 per month = Rs 1800/- to Rs 2100/-
and with the same cost we are going to get BIG TV with awesome quality and almost a
all the channels. The only channels I feel missing in South India delight pack Rs 2190/-
are HBO, Colors etc. Please see the list of channels that I have attached (Refernce: https://bigtv.co.in)
- You may now ask me that what after 1 year. As far as I know with current DTH competition
we are going to get all these channels at Rs 250/-. If in case reliance increase prices we
will have portability option , so we can that time avail some other DTH servie with same
setup box. So for now this is not at all a concern.
I already have tatasky installed and I want to give some coparision comments with BIG TV
BIG TV remote is light weight and small compared to TATA SKY.
BIG TV is at rate of Rs 2190/- where as tatasky is RS 4045/- (Figures as per
https://bigtv.co.in for 1 year subscription)
3. I even feel the setup box is small compared to TATASKY.
Regarding picture Quality , I will keep it posted once they complete Installation.
TATASKY service is far better than BIG TV.
Useful Information for Hyderabad’is:
When I went to the Reliance Web World Retailer they have said there is no stock in city itself, then
I have called back to Call center and took list f dealers in hyderabad. So any one from any city if
you want to buy big tv and if the setup box is not avalaible at your retailer , call to call center and get the dealers number.
