I was happy with the services offered by Big basket in terms of placing order, timeliness of delivery, pricing of products, quality of products, packaging of vegetables & fruit and even courtesies extended by delivery boys during my earlier orders.
But surprisingly inmy recent order BMOO-22881794-180217 of 19 Feb 2017, it has been noticed with concern that quality of fresh vegetable was atrocious, stale and unhygienic. To quote -a few items where the quality was substandard - Broccoli had gone yellow, peas were not fresh, carrots were stale, sticky & dripping & eggs were rotten. Thus resulting in disposing of these items as garbage.
This has forced me to avoid using big basket for especially for fresh fruit and vegetables. I am sure, if the quality is not maintained more and more customers will dis-associate from big basket No matter how big the celebrity endorsing a big basket.
Prompt action from Big basket is required to improve quality standards, lest end will not be desirable, as this venture will turn into huge loss making.
