My name is Amit Rishi and I stay in Noida(A-766). I wanted to share my experience of ordering fruits and vegetables through Big Basket on Sunday(6th September)
I regularly order my vegetables and fruits from PepperTap, but was advised by a few of my friends to try Big Basket. So I did, in the hope that the products will be of good quality. But what I got left me shocked.
The pears were rotten, so we immediately returned it. But later on realized that this was not an exception. Most of what we ordered were low quality for which we paid a high price
The bAnasultannas were very raw, spinach was stale and had a bad smell, pealed onions were really really stale and were almost rotten. But must confess the packing was bang on
To share my bad experience, on the same day(Sunday I called their customer care number(1860-123-1000). For 15 minutes I only heard the same customer care anthem that we all are now accustomed to – “Please don’t hang up. Your call is really important to us.”. Tried to call them two more times with the same result. Frustrated, I sent them the above mail on their contact us email id(customercare@bigbasket.com). Guess what happened – the email bounced. I thought this may be a temporary glitch, so I once again resent them my earlier email today. Guess what, the email bounced again.
Inspite of my bad experience I did not want to post this on social media and thought to take this up directly with BigBasket. So on the same day So now after exhausting all my efforts of directly getting in touch with them via phone and email, here I am posting this on facebook.
