Bit meshra, ranchi is central funded gfti institute.
The academics and extra curricular activities in this college is satisfactory but not up to the mark.
Since it is a university, so the campus is very large and expanded around 1000 acres of area but its campus for engineering is about only 30 acres of land which is very less.
The quality of student in this college is not very great because of state and caste reservation.
The tution fess of this college is very high because it is semi government. So it is not affordable for lower middle class family.
According to its fees, its placement is not up to the mark.
Only some cse engineer get good package in this college and rest are placed in mass recruiter companies like tcs, wipro, infosys and ibm.
And other branch has almost neglible placement.
So I will recommend you this college if and only you are getting cse branch there, otherwise try for some other gfti colleges across india.
