Hehe Geek Airlines Just took a New Route after take off!!!
Hey buddies, with over 2 lack/Per 30 days computers getting infected by Viruse’s, Worms(Specially ’Black Worm’), Trojans, Key loggers & many more, the best way to get rid of them is to own a software called ’Bit defender Antivirus Professional’....Some here reading my review wouldn’t have heard(Because it’s not heavily advertised) of it but believe me, after using around 6-8 other antivirus like-:
- Norton Antivirus- Awkward Software, It’s only got name, nothing else...Not effective at all. Mostly Quarantines the Files Infected inspite of repairing them....Also makes the system much much slower than it’s desired speed.It’s high time Symantec must upgrade it’s product.
Others Include- Mcafee, PC-cillin, AVG, Hacker Pro, Panda, Avast etc....
I finally Came to a solid (Never Changing) decision that Bit defender (Developed By: Softwin Enterprise, 2001-2006) is ’Reliable’ & ’Effective’ too. It’s got Astonishing or I should say `1000 times Excellent` features. You Yourself Have a look at them...

Before I come to technical details, i wanna share an incident:
During the month of october, my PC/system got filled up with around 80-85 viruses & and were quickly eating up my private/confidential files/matter..Regular updates were being download for Norton and scans were in the process...Norton was able to remove only 10-12 viruses...It was getting on my nerves..So I finally started the search for a better Antivirus...In the way, downloaded bitdefender and ran the full system scan....Around 50-60 viruses were removed by it...(Shocking!!!!).Since then I continued to use Bitdefender and am indeed VERY HAPPY..:)

Let’s Have a Look At The Features :
(You Know What I Mean: Astonishing).
1) First of all it has an antivirus base. (Common).The moment you install it, Performs an antivirus scan. It Grabs Your system and repairs all the files(Except Some) infected with -Trojans, Worms, Black Horse, Virus, Malware, Spyware, Adware, Key loggers & Genpacks.....
You Just need to SIT BACK, RELAX & DO YOUR WORK. :)
In the background, it continues to scan the files which are in the system folder or the ones which are frequently used. Also Scans the Incoming & Outgoing Emails. After Every Scan is completed, a detailed yet informative report is presented in front of you by the antivirus explaining the type of viruses with which the files were infected. You can also schedule a scan or perform one yourself (When need arises.)The quarantine folder provided there, shows the files infected with viruses. One more thing, whenever your PC gets infected, an alert is displayed...
In short: Virus Ki Maut Ka Karan !!

2) Next in order is the Firewall which is surprisingly included in the package. This firewall according to me is one of the best out of the whole lot available in the market...
It protects your PC from getting hacked by a professional hacker. Both the Incoming as well as Outgoing Traffic Statistics is displayed in the metric form. By just a click of a button, you can block access to the internet. This feature indeed is very helpful in many cases:
For Example,
a) As soon as your system gets infected, block the access to the internet for no-further intrusions.
You can also select the programmes which can access the internet. Through the ’Traffic’ Tab. The firewall window also shows the current activities performed by the System Hardware...
In short: Hacker Ke Dar Ka Karan !!!!

3) Now come the Antispam Features. Out of the whole package, this feature is the most disgusting one.Anywazzz it helps in removing spam from an email recieved.Antispam filter is also shown through which you can select the Tolerance %..
Apart from this, Friends and Spammers List Option is also available. It shows the no. of email recieved...Also shows the no. of spam emails...recieved... (Till the window session is over.)
In Short: Spam Jeet Gaya!!!

4) hehe....here comes the Antispyware tab/feature...It continuously scans the cookies, scripts received by other websites. Also blocks the unwanted or un-recognized ones..Allows/Blocks registry intrusions after asking you.
Dial Control has also been provided there which is absent in Norton Also...Like I told you above, it also has the scheduler, report & quarantineoption.
Throught the ’System Info’ tab, thorough information is given about your PC which at imes is useful. You can perform Spyware Scans of 2 types:
a)Normal Scan
b)Deep Scan...
In short: Spyware Ko Bhagana He Padega.....

5) A warm welcome to the ’Parental Control Feature’.With the help of this one, You can block the acces to the sites of your choice, To Various Other applications and files...
You could also fix a limit after which the internet would stop working for security sake/purpose. Like I have ser the interval to 30 minutes. After every 30 minutes I restart my modem (Airtel User).

Wanna be protected forever???
So for that, you would certainly need to update the antivirus as in the case of bit defender, after 21 hours a new update is available. Regular Updates increase protection/security & the time taken by the antivirus to get updated totally depends upon the size of the update available. Sometimes the system has to be rebooted incase of engine update...
