Black - A Movie With Substance

Darkness, the scariest word ever discovered and light is life, But does that mean we don?t exist without that. Darkness is one facet of a coin; the other one is bright like you have happiness and sorrow.

Darkness is not Blindness, rather it depends on how we perceive things and react to it. In this world, people who have got eyesight are living in dark because they perceive it that ways.

They remain unchanged, they accept what comes in the way and they accept the hard truth of life, they follow what others say.

GOD has given a vision to all of us; it?s a matter of utilizing that in a skilled manner. To sense, you need your soul and not your organs, your organs can help you sense natural things but to sense super natural is what you got to have.

BLACK, a movie by Sanjay Leela Bansali has shown a new way of perceiving darkness, it?s not a curse anymore, it?s a fact that we need to accept and try to win the darkness by the light of the soul.

The movie depicts the very nature of human mind, it has emotion, sentiment, love, and humour. It shows that darkness is not because we can?t see, it?s because we don?t want to see; we accept ourselves to be blind. We can never be blind unless we are blind by our mind, by our heart and by our soul.

A little girl who is blind by birth has been treated in a way all other blinds are treated, she is being treated like an animal, and she has a bell hanging in her neck.

We groom ourselves as per the society?s responsiveness to our behaviour, the little girl portrayed in the film has not been given that warmth love which was expected out of her parents.

Sometimes we don?t see through our eyes but through others eyes. She could have seen the world through the eyes of her parents but she was never treated like that.

Amitabh Bachchan plays a very important role in the casting of the girl, an immature and depressed blind baby to a matured and sensible woman.

He proves that people who don?t have eyesight see through the feelings in the heart. He nurtures the child and makes her die hard and tough.

A MIRACLE, we see the magic of fingers in the movie, an absolute state of mind without eye vision, without sound, still having sixth sense to sense the snow fall.

The most sensible and sentimental scene of the movie is when Rani Mukherjee gets disappointed after knowing that no one will marry her and she won?t be able to have married life.

She asks for a kiss on her lips from Amitabh Bachchan because he is the one she has felt since the time she is born, he is the one, who is a mother, a father, a guide, a friend, and a lover for her. She doesn?t know about the whole life, she considers him to be the light of her dark life.

It?s a great effort of the Indian Cinema towards making film with an objective, a film to be appraised globally.

It was a great fun and experience for me watching this movie. Please go and see it in case u haven?t.

With Luv,

Satyen
