A saga of a challenged girl--
cocooned in blackness,
now stifling, now helpless,
why, now even disturbing.
Till a beacon
in form of a drunken guru
one Devraj Sahay
comes to her rescue.
To handle the challenged girl
is indeed a challenge big--
but our man Devraj
has a king-size resolve.
The struggle is immense,
as is the resolution--
and slowly but surely
the challenged girl (Michelle)
is metamorphosed
into a butterfly
graceful and dignified
ready to face the world.
However, alas and aleck--
the Guru now suffers
from Alzheimers -- a disease
so rotten as to rob him
of his memory, his motility.
Oh! the enigmatic ways of the
of the Gods!Who will understand
their divine plan?!
The heroic man, now a
quivering vegetable! Just
look at the turn of the
table - the lifes vissicitudes!
The challenged woman, now takes
on the challenge of teaching the
the guru, the god, to speak-
the first word, she learnt was water.
The first word he re-learns
from her is also water-
so symbolic, so as to
cathartically cleanse us.
Black is not a good movie.
Its a classic, great movie!
