This is a coffee maker that does not have the bells and whistles but is serves its purpose quite well, especially for those on a budget.
It did not offer a spectacular brewing experience because you really had to watch how much grounds you put in, too much or too little was bad either way. I never quite figured out what I was doing because I never really got a fabulous cup of coffee from this unit.
I never liked to clean this unit because it took a little more than just a rinse with this one. On occasion I have to soak it because the coffee grounds would overflow and cake up in the top part of it.
It was pretty simple to use. Because it was primarily used in my office, it was programmed to have coffee brewing as I was walking in the door, so that was somewhat of a bonus.
This has a very simple design, nothing to write home about.
I have to give credit to the amount of time it lasted before it was replaced. I have dropped this unit and many occasions and it still worked for me.
