We have had an earlier version of this for many, many years. This little work horse coffee pot has churned out cup after cup each day for our coffee drinking family. We bought an expensive coffee pot/espresso maker combo, but we all drink our coffee differently and at different times of day. This way, we all get our own. And we’re very picky about our coffee. It’s super fast and there is NO burning of your coffee like on a standard brewer with a hot plate.
Although the first model they came out with had a much better cup and it held more coffee. This one takes a slightly smaller cup but still does a good job. I would recommend it over higher priced models because I can go and buy a large container of Black Silk coffee and it will last 3-4 months which works out to be very cheap per cup and it is good quality coffee. Try that with the other single cup coffee makers.
The permanent filter that I had with my first black&decker lasted 4 years so they are very sturdy also Coffee is good and it is very convenient. Highly recommended to those who are looking to try their first coffee maker.
