This Book Is No Blind Alley !

Blind Alley was written by Iris Johnson and published by Random House in 2004. I own the paperback book that cost me $10.00. The ISBN number is 037543821.

This book is about a forensic sculptor by the name of Eve Duncan, (I hope you get the new TV show called ’’Bones’’ so you will see what she does.

After there is an autopsy and they pathologist decides there has been a murder they phone the police.

My Review

The book begins when the coroner asks Detective Lollack come to see a body. When she does she finds out that the body has no fingerprints and no face making it impossible to identify the person.

In this book she is working with Detective Christy Lollack of Scotland Yard in London. Eve is called in to help them this solve crimes.

More murders happen and Eve’s talents will face the ultimate test because the serial killer has been going to extraordinary lengths to hide the identity of his victims, leaving them without a face and burning off their fingerprints.

When Eve knows the identity of the first victim, her world is turned topsy turvy.

My Thoughts

I found that I couldn’t but this book down because I wanted to know who did the dastly deeds.

The plot is fabulous and the characters have been developed very well.

Did you know that you have more bones in one foot than in the rest of your body? If the tiniest bone is found DNA can be used to find out who the person is.

My Conclusion

If you like thrillers I highly recommend this one.

Thanks for reading my review.
