Solid example of post-postmodern fiction and the impact of time, context, and perspective on understanding ( or misunderstanding) the written world. I’m not personally familiar with a canadian historical backdrop, but it largely did not impede my understanding or enjoyment of the narrative ( s) . The mystrey and slow unfolding definitely kept the pages turning, and I am left wanting more, despite it having a very clean -and tidy conclusion.
