Grofers a harrowing experience

The very first time I tried Grofers it failed me. the prices look competitive and why not because they have no intention of delivering it. I placed an order for Rs368 on grofers.com on 22nd November 2016.


The portal said it would be delivered next morning and I chose the  7 am -9 am slot. So far so good. Next day morning  i.e 23rd November morning a guy was standing outside my apartment with a bag filled with just a part of the order. He said the rest of the order was unavailable . It would be delivered by evening if possible. I was asked to call the customer service myself . I then mailed the customer service citing the delay. The lady asked me to repeat my order. I am sure she must have had the details as I had provided her my order number. She did not confirm that my order would be surely processed, so I told her to cancel it.


Then I get a mail saying due to my request my order was being cancelled.


End of story. no more grofers for me.
