This program called "Fightback" on UTV Bloomberg is a joke. There is nothing that the channel fights for to get the issues resolved. Most of the time these days I only notice petty issues such as over charge on a cellphone bill. The producers of this show dont have the IQ to really judge whether a grievance is resolved. To be precise, they simply dont care. If you notice, a lot of times the company against whom the claim is made would revert back putting the blame on the customer. And the channel which is afraid of messing its relationship with those companies do not really inform the customers of this response. Instead, you wont believe this - they alter the customers complaint in a way that things that defames the company are deleted and just mention a few lines which sound like nothing. Then they patch the companys response in such a way that it appears that the company did everything but the customer was at fault.
I had registered a complaint against a product. A few days later, I got a call from UTV Bloomberg and I could not answer it at that time. When I called back, the person at the other end said she would get back to me. I called in again after a while a few times but every time she just answered the call and put the receiver away.
The company against which I had registered the complaint, made up its own stories and they did nothing considering a customer escalation had taken place. They offered me to repair a third rate product sold to me at an exorbitant rate. I could have done this by directly approaching any repair center. My point was that I was tired of repairing it over and over and wanted the company to just take the unit back or give me another model. None of that was answered. Instead the company said that they offered me another repair and I accepted that. Bloomberg UTV then called me up. I explained that they never solved my problem and everything that the manufacturer wrote on the mail was rubbish. All they did was call me up and fight with me on the phone and nothing out of that conversation was intimated to UTV. But the lady chose to ignore that. She asked me to record my statement over the phone. Guess what happened after that. Only 2-3 lines where I described the issue was played out. Bits where I mentioned how I was ill-treated by the company was deleted. Then they showed the email sent to them by the product manufacturer saying "Oh we have offered this solution. Customer satisfaction has been our motive always".
