I had given my undergraduate degree for attestation for Dubai visa. I paid 8500 for one document. I gave my degree to the official with specific instructions not to spoil or lose it. the degree was in a hard bound folder so that it does not spoil. When I got my degree it was crumpled and folded and in the worst condition just short of being torn.The document was couriers to Mumbai for attestation. The official explained that they folded the degree to match size of rest of documents and submitted along with 25 other documents to courier. And that he could now do nothing about it.
The second official started saying that these things happen at the ministry.
Mostly I was amazed at the casual and irresponsible attitude they had. The personal at the cash counter was snickering away inspire of my complaints saying at least the attestation job was done. I don’t mind paying more if I get that level of service, but I am really disappointed to see the state of my degree.
I really regret the state of my document and wish I have tried some other agency. Unfortunately during selection of agency I could not find any guide or review on the net as to which is the best agency to go to in Delhi. I am writing this review so that at least any other person thinks twice before going to the above said agency.
