Never thought I would be writing anything against BlueDart/DHL as it was fantastic for me in USA (from DHL). Well.. Here it goes.
On 6th May ’09, someone called me and said without saying from where and who..’You have a courier. Address is not correct. So, we may send it back’ ! I asked who it is and from where the courier is . He replied ’call me back to this number’
I called him back and he said ’Courier from TAX Department’ . And, I asked ’What address it is written in that’. He said address which is exactly correct. I asked him ’How can you say the address is wrong, how can you send it back?’
He replied ’Then tell me, where it is. I dont know the place’. I was like puzzled. Since he didnt know the address, he himself marked as ’ADDRESS IS WRONG’ !!! Next he said "We are in KR Puram, I will send a boy. Give him petrol charges 20-30RS’. I asked ’Are you a courier company or from income tax dept’?
He said ’We are from tax department services for delivering couriers’ I said ’I wont give a single rupee as I am paying my TAX properly’. He then said ’Okay. Will deliver sometime today’.Evening I called him again . He said his boy is somewhere in outskirts and he will deliver today.
On 7th I called him two three times. All he said is ’Boy will deliver With in Half-an-hour’. Didnt deliver on 7th.Today, I just went thru the mail and saw a mail from Income TAX stating the details including Waybill number. Now found out that it was a courier thru BlueDart (did not know till today as he said ’i am from tax dept’)
Then I called the Customer care, BlueDart in B’lore, and told the waybill number. He said it was delivered. I was shocked and told the complete story to him. He took my number and assured me that he will get back to me. So far, he didn’t. Hopefully someone will...
I checked the bluedart site as well. It shows that, it is picked on 4th from Mumbai and delivered on 6th 12:40PM (Same time when he called) and signed by ME !!!!!! Called the person who was calling me and just blasted him left n right. He said ’I met with an accident, so I couldn’t come, I will come by noon’.
Till morning, he was saying ’boy will come with in half an hour’, and suddenly he said ’i couldn’t come because of an accident’. I said I will complain and he said ’if you want to beat me, beat me.. no problem, see my condition once I come there’...
I am surprised..
Why these people say ’Delivered’ without delivering it !! Sent a mail to bluedart manager. She mailed me back saying ’Will get back as soon as possible. some thing has gone wrong somewhere and all.... (not an auto generated one) ! I think, it is better to send thru other couriers and avoid this BLUE DART ! This person couldn’t understand a word other than ’Kannada’.
