I go here quite often (about once a month for the last three years) more because it is just a stone’s throw from my house. I go to Bluebird if I want a quiet dinner with my husband. However, the food is nothing to write home about. The chinese dishes are quite good (the chilli prawns especially). However, I do not really like the Punju food. Too oily for my taste. However, try the chicken gold coins, quite yum.
Also, this place is more frequented by business people on weekdays who have come for a drink after work hours. For them, the lights are kept very dim and the ambience is not very good for families with kids. But, this place is good for couples living in the vicinity who want a quiet place with good service and reliable food. Also, there is a nice Yankee Doodle Icecream parlour just adjacent to Bluebird which has good icecream which you can eat as dessert.
The service is quite good.
