*my experience with the BlueStar Split AC 1.5 ton (KHWE181YB) has been dissapointing to say the least..the less said about the Product..(noisy..poor cooling..) and their after sales services the better...initialy the capacitor became defective..which was replaced by a fake and used capacitor without providing any bills whtsoever inspite of written objections to it....later within a week of installing capacitor the compressor also become defective (is there any connection between the two ).....
they insisted that I do an AMC with them withhelding the information for 6 months that mine was a Rotary compressor which comes with a 5 year warranty....after much harrasment ..several phone calls...mails on their website grievance cell ...the dealer agreed to replace it with local compresssor and the bluestar company makes tall claims of providing genuine spare parts (please check thier website for this claim.)..and here their own senior executive claim that they assemble parts sourced from several places including the compressor...i dont knw which one is true...
Either he ws lying to me or the companies claims r true.... either way its shameful if they r taking a customer for a ride.. not only that all cost of installation and gas has to be borne by the customer only...i find it regretful to say the least for such a reputed company and their dealers to harrass customers..it is better to buy local ACs then branded ones since the customer ends up same anyways inspite of paying 3 times higher price.. ..it appears to me that branded companies are vested with hidden after sales cost and customer harrassment inspite of the exorbitant prices that they charge
.. and I m still awaiting the installation and I dont knw when/what compressor... genuine or fake..used or new !!!!
