!*** Saabji yahi BLUFFMASTER hai ***!

One of the most untruthful things possible, you know, is a collection of facts, because they can be made to appear so many different ways.

Bluffmaster bluffs you not only with the story but also with your preoccupied mindset. When I entered the theater, I had a mindset that it would be a light comedy with some hilarious scenarios, but it was all gloomy to find a sappy love story of a bluffer. Linger for a comical story is trampled by the innocent moan of Simmy (Priyanka Chopra). Few scenes are worth watching but again you can’t waste your 130 Rs and 2.5 hrs just for few stills.

Plot: Roy (Abhishek Bachchan) is a bluffmaster. Cheating people and making money out of it, is his profession, opps it’s not profession it’s his occupation. He enjoys his life with his haughty belief that “Goli wo log chalate hain jo dimag nahi chala sakte”. He is confident, blunt, arrogant and proud. He loves a girl Simmy (Priyanka Chopra). Simmy like any other girl has a dream and find her little little happiness with Roy. When their love story was about to make a shape, suddenly Simmy got to know that Roy is actually a bluffer and she breaks up her relationships with him. Nature of a person never changes and so Roy never changes his occupation. Love never dies so Simmy can’t forget her love. Time has lots to convey and it tells it’s own story as well. To crack all this suspense, visit the theater and watch bluffmasterrrrr.

Scenes: Few scenes worth mentioning here are the lessons given by Boman Irani to Abhishek Bachchan. He tells, “30 sal ki zindagi me aise kitne din hain jo tumhe yaad hain…. 1, 2, 3, …10 , 15 , 30… 30 din hai na. Ab ye batao, is 30 sal ki zindagi me sirf 30 din tumhe yaad hain to kya tum apne anewale 90 din ko in 30 dino ki tarah nahi bana sakte…”. This was one of the inspirations, which boosted Roy to live his life with his utmost pleasure. Second one would be when Dittu (Ritesh Deshmukh) tell Roy, “har insane ki zindagi me jine ka ek maksad hota hai …. tumhare liye ho sakta hai wo maksad Simmy ho par mere liye wo maksad mere baba hain ..”. How true it is, everyone lives his life to achieve some goal, to live some dreams. If there were no any dream, no any goal, life would be really boring. Third would be when Roy tells Dittu, “Aaj guru dakhshina dene ka time hai, tum promise karo ki tum ye kam chhod doge, aaj mujhe ahsas hua hai ki, maine jo kiya wo galat tha… main dusre raste pe chalna chahta hun… dusri taraf dekhna chahta hun par mera pas option nahi … tumhare pas aaj bhi option hai isliye tum ye sab chhod do ..”. The real life scenario, when you do something wrong and keep doing that, you missed out the chance to rollback it. It’s always better to rectify your mistakes before it leads to any deadlock.

Performances: Confident Abhishek has again given one of his great performances. He is getting better and better each day. He is improving his acting, his style, and his look. Of course the confidence level is also improving. It is said that “ek bar dil tutne ke bad insan smart ho jata hai.”.Remember the incident “Karishma-Abhishek” engagement. After that incident, he improved at every level and now he is one of the top-runners. Priyanka Chopra the lead actress in this movie is looking sweet and performed nicely. Her role was not any challenging but just a typical bollywood one, so not much work for her. Ritesh Deshmukh is getting typed day by day. It seems he has started enjoying his comic character in each of his movies. The character of Dittu is also the same as his previous assignments and he is looking typical “phattu..” (masti fame) here also. Nana Patekar is as usual looking in cares for nothing mood. He does his acting in his own special way, and he has his fans also who like his special way. This movie also gives him the opportunity to portray typical Nana Patekar. Boman Irani has performed excellently. He is playing a confused doctor’s character and this is really brilliant, the finest acting in this movie.

Reasons for not recommending: Mid part of this movie, about 1 hour is really very boring. Movie is running without any prior prediction or interest. Audiences are confused what to wait for and why? The climax of this movie is good but was very unpredictable. The story is nice and could have portrayed in better way. I’m not recommending this movie just for the boring mid part although I’ll give 3 stars here.

Music: Recent trends continue, no usual songs are shown in this movie. In theater I found some girls rolling on the last track, which is presented by Abhishek Bachchan. I also enjoyed that track and it could be nice selection for any discotheque.

Abhishek’s fan can go and enjoy the movie for a confident acting by him but for general viewer it’s better to wait for a month and watch it on TV.
