Bobby jasoos was a waste attempt to create Sherlock Holmes. I’m pretty sure that no one else could do better acting than Vidya Balan for the role of bobby jasoos but the plot itself was a big let down.
The movie starts slowly and then picks up pace all of a sudden and then again drops at the end. After creating such a intense situation the climax lets down its audience. Maybe a better climax could be tailored.
The plot was good in bits and pieces but on a whole it failed to deliver the killing punch. The start was boring where bobby isn’t accepted by a detective agency and then she sets out to open her own office and all of a sudden she gets a anonymous client who pays her well and in turn asks her to search for people with a name and the birth mark as the identification. From this part the movie picks up pace.
The climax as per me was a big let down!
Cast performance by Vidya Balan was good but somehow I thought that she could have done better. Ali fazal acting was good and hence he got an offer for khamoshiyaan. The an anonymous person(khan) too was good.
The sound tracks weren’t much of a chart buster. This section too disappointed me to an extent.
Nothing much to offer into cinematography.
I loved the part of the movie where bobby jasoos sets out to find the people with available clue of name and birthmark.
Final verdict: Can be avoided but can be watched once if your a Vidya Balan fan.
