WHAT IS BOI STAR REWARD?
BOI Star reward is a loyalty program developed for Bank of India debit card customers. Each BOI debit card holder gets accumulated reward points each time they swipe their card for any retail purchase including both online purchase and store purchase. Customers can then utilise the reward points to buy goods, service and merchandise like airline tickets, bus tickets, movie tickets, merchandise, gift vouchers and mobile and DTH recharge.
MY EXPERIENCE
When I try to sign up using my debit card number, it says please register your mobile number as mobile number is not linked. How is that possible? When I carry out online translations the OTP comes on my registered mobile number. I call their helpline number but after 30 days still my problem not solved. They always tell me to wait for 15 working days. I have done a lots of online purchases but unable to see and redeem them.
I go to their website for registration and I face same issue there. Sometimes it says that OTP sent to your registered mobile but I did not get the OTP as I had already registered my mobile number.
I have an account in Central Bank of India and I have earned lots of reward points through their anmol reward loyalty program. But I think BOI Star Reward is fake.
CONCLUSION
The support team says that I am facing these issues because my bank account is new. Try to register after 20- 30 working days. But I have been waiting for 50 days and still unable to register on BOI rewards. Very bad experience
