Those who have seen the orginal Gol Maal can feel what I said in the subject line. Anyways it is a personal opinion and it may vary from a lot others who will put their reviews here. For me comedy means in all time classic like Jaane Bhi do yaaron, Hera Pheri ( not the phir hera pheri), the comic part of 3 idiots, dhmaal, etc.
Rohit Shetty did a better job in Gol Maal 3 where he was able to maintain the momentum of comedy and the actors playing their respective characters. Here he lost it completely. For those who find comedy in listening to hinglish one liners pushed unnecessarily in not so funny scenes, an imposed local Rajasthani accent, comic situations which barely look comic might enjoy the whole movie.
After a point one can easily start making out what will happen next in the movie because it turns out to be so standardized specially for those who have seen the original Gol Maal and that’s where the movie starts losing its attraction.
Ajay Devegan- Did a far better job in Golmaal3. Out here he has been too loud then comic.
Abhishek Bacchan – Looked more like a filler against Ajay Devegan and so both Asin and Prachi.
Krushna & Archan Pooran Singh- They did best what they can. Average Comedy.
People who enjoy comedy which seems to be arising out of normal day to day life events (like Hera Pheri ) might find it disappointing whereas others will enjoy it.
