I really liked this movie…for many reasons…let’s begin…with a little intro first:
Bollywood Hollywood is a pakka bollywood flick and its only Hollywood because it’s based out of India.
Btw- I have a question about that, now are Canadian movies are called Hollywood too…since if u say Hollywood the movie should’ve been based in u.s…..am I right?
To the request of Milind here’s what the story is about: Rahul’s mom pressures him to get married to a indian girl..or else....so he finds lisa in a club and bribes her to become his bride till his sis’s wedding...and like all the bolly flicks they fall in love ...simple story hope this helps..milind
I really like watching Rahul Khanna – he is a delight to watch. I’m glad he is doing movies like these and not entering Bollywood and becoming a romantic hero…God Bless You! (hehe)
Lisa Ray – She is Hot, She suited the role perfectly, I liked her in this movie very much…more then Kasoor. I liked her dresses too…
Late Deena Pathak – Well, I m not happy that she passed away…but I m happy that this was her last movie..since everybody will remember her as the Shakespearean influenced Dadi…..hehehe
Mousmi Chaterjee – Now, I haven’t seen her in a while and it was a joy watching her cry and of course the dramatic faint….and I liked it when she said “no kishi vishi before marriage”.
Others, are a great additions to the movie…like the sister, brother, Kulbhushan Kharbenda ( Batinda guy), and the driver (can’t seem to rem. His name) – now what was the deal with him being a Drag Queen….I really didn’t care but it wasn’t need..right?
The Killer Khalsa dude was hilarious tooo! Hehe
I m dying to buy the cd of the movie..but can’t seem to find it anywhere….hmm…ok let’s see what songs I really liked:
1- The Akshay Khanna (sp. App.) with Lisa ray - Sona Sona Roop hai humko gurur hai
2- The sad love song - Suni Hawa
3- Drag Queen song Dil Kabootar
Oh….all the songs..there are 5 more..i think
QUICK Reasons for watchin this movie:
-It’s short! ( like an hour and a half)
-It has cute Rahul Khanna & Hot Lisa Ray
-Late Deena Pathak’s amazingly funny!
-Music is really good....i liked it a lot! (SOna Sona Roop Hai)
-Drag Queen is not needed but its funnY!
-ALl the jokes (actually most of the movies) is fuNNY!
-Shows coool cars!
-Nice bollywood songs!
Need I say More….Gawd…Go watch the movie..& Enjoy!
P.s. Why was I the only one & 2 guys behind me laughing so hard that I almost chocked on my popcorn?
